I was sooo bored that I made a 3D model of...

Theres more then 3, but these show it entirely. The model uses 3 256x256 skins, and is a whaping (yes, I meant to spell it that way. ;) 7000 polys! All of that, and it even has the proper bone structure, just in case I want to add animations (I find that the easyest part of modeling. :). Guess I won't be turning this into a skin for any 3D game all too soon, but it would be nice to try and re-sprite the Demon sprites with these... :)

So, what do you think? Little less coffee? =^)

P.S. I was even thinking of redoing all the monsters in Doom. Like I said, too much java! ;)

Hey, is it MD2??
You could put it in ZDooM! Or any other DooM port that supports the MD2 models. But to warn you {even tho yours is sweet!} other people have done remakes of all the monsters :P
But that would be cool if you tried to remake the rest of the gand! {Im guess the caco would be hard too do..}

...unfortnetly, it's 7000 polygons. Thats about 7 times a Quake 3 model poly count, and my guess is that it's a little (little? ha! ;) too much. Chances are, one of these guys on the screen at a time would chomp on memory and wouldn't let go. :)

Guess I should learn to de-detail the models I make, eh? ;)

I tried to export it as a md2, but one slight prob... md2's have a limit of 4000 or so polys, and I'm a buttload off that mark. Sorry. :)

Look on the bright side, I'll be using this model, and creating sprites out of it so it can be in Doom. :) ... that is, after I finish the OTHER model... heh heh heh... ;^)
