updating

i need to update my doom2 game to get a mod to work so i went to idsoftware and downloaded a patch. i try to use it but it wont work because it edits the doom2.exe file and i got doom295. maybe i am just stupid and doom95 is allready vertion 1.9, i dont know.

The iwad is already v1.9. Have you checked the cd that Doom2 came on? I'm pretty sure the Dos v1.9 .exe should be on there somewhere too.
