Guest AndyLeaver Posted February 28, 2001 Can anyone tell me how to Fix a VisPlane Error? 0 Share this post Link to post
stphrz Posted February 28, 2001 There are two ways to fix it. The easiest way is to simply use a limitless source port like, Boom, Legacy, or ZDoom. These ports among several others have had such internal limits removed. If you want to continue using the original .exe, you are going to have to alter the layout of your level. You will probably need to remove some sectors and/or block off the view where the error is occuring. I would use a source port if I were you. Especially if you like the way your level is now and don't want to change it. You can download all of the source ports I mentioned above, as well as several others right here in the source ports section of Doomworld. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest AndyLeaver Posted February 28, 2001 The level is for No Hope For Life... I had said before that It would be a non zdoom boom or anything else like that. Just Doom Hmm maybe I was wrong When I said that...HMM 0 Share this post Link to post
Zigmund Posted February 28, 2001 A VPO is caused by looking across to many sectors at once. I have found that by blocking your view in a way so that you can still see across the distance but from different points of view that don't take in all the sectors at once, most of the time actually improves your map. Using a port just to get by a VPO problem seems like a lazy way to build a Doom map to me. You will never learn how to build a great level by taking the easy way out. But Hey... thats just my opinion :) 0 Share this post Link to post
