Pirated copies?

How do you know if your copy of Doom / Doom2 is pirated or not?
I got my copy of Doom2 from a software store's site called "gamecrazy.com". I only received the wad plus the DOS program for it. I didn't receive the CD of it. May I ask, was it legal?

You better order a copy at id offices. I did that for Final Doom. They send you the original CD plus the box and all the documentation.

It means "faith and belief" and is a juridical expression whitch says, that the buyer of stolen (in your case "pirated") goods is not guilty if he was not aware that he bought stolen ware. But in your case - well - too obvious.
