Guest IDJacobs Posted March 8, 2001 Hi, anoyne knows how to make your mouse work in DOOM2 in the win2k environment? I'm running the windows-version of DOOM2 (DOOM95)and a logitech mouse. I've tried the logitech mouse driver with no luck, and I don't want the modified ZDOOM or BOOM. DOOM2 will load up and run fine in Windows 2000 however the mouse is DEAD. HELP! 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted March 8, 2001 Just because the Windows version of zDoom has extra features doesn't mean you have to use them. By default it runs exactly like the original Doom (only with higher performance and fewer bugs). I would recommend that. I haven't used Doom95 in a while but does it make you choose between keyboard&joystick or keyboard&mouse? I remember the original Doom giving me trouble with that. BTW, I use a Logitech Trackman Marble Wheel USB and the day it worked the best for me is the day I uninstalled all that bullshit Logitech software. You don't need it, and it just slows things down. That's what might be giving you trouble (I could never use the wheel until I got rid of that stuff). 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest PFCGray Posted March 8, 2001 Go to "Configuration" when you get to the launcher, press the "mouse" tab then check the box that says "enable mouse control". Simple as that. Oh, and click "OK" when you're done. 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted March 8, 2001 Hey man, good co op the other day. I'd be co opping again right now, but unfortunately, I've got some cds to burn... I still think the guy just ought to upgrade to zDoom. 0 Share this post Link to post
