esco Posted March 13, 2001 Heh, heh, yo dis one's easy: Ult. Doom: E2M8- tower of babel, da cyberdemon's theme music! Doom 2: level 32, the grosse wolfenstein music! Final Doom: TNT only has new music, so it would be level 30, last call! PSX DOOM: Level 2, da plant's music! It is creepy as fuck! Doom 64: definately level 17, watch your step! Dat music is evil as fuck, brotha! 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest giltygear Posted March 13, 2001 DooM (PC) - E2M1--"Deimos Anomaly" DooM2 - MAP 31--"Wolfenstein" DooM (SNES)- E1M1 This versions a helluva lot better sounding that the midi version Saturn/PSX DooM (They're both the same musically)- That really fast techno-sounding track (track 6 if you put it in a CD player.) 0 Share this post Link to post

Dat music is evil as fuck, brotha! The music for PSX Doom: "Plant" is the same as the Doom 64 map "Watch Your Step." The music for PSX Doom: "Mt. Erebus" and the Doom 64 map "Altar of Pain" are the same as well. The D64 ones are just creepier remixes of them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Zeratul 982 Posted March 13, 2001 Ultimate Doom/SNES Doom: -"Toxin Refinery" (PC/SNES) -"Deimos Lab" (PC/SNES) -"Halls of the Damned" (PC/SNES) -"Slough of Despair" (SNES) -"Hell Keep"/"Fortress of Mystery" (SNES) PSX Doom: "Hell Keep" + maps with same track "Pandemonium" + maps with same track Doom 64: "Dark Citadel" "Spawned Fear" "Tech Center" + maps with same track "Research Lab"/"Unholy Temple" (even though they've not been programmed to "loop" when finished) I think I'll stop here. I might flood the thread like I done with the "fav. levels" thread. 0 Share this post Link to post

Plus the N64 songs don't have as much stuff playing at a time. Mostly the same sounds in every song. 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest crawlie Posted March 14, 2001 Umm.. can't remember the names, but in the PC version: E1M2, E1M4 (altrough that gets boring after about 30 seconds :P), E1M9, E2M1 (yes!), the bunny endgame music (that's extremely cool) and also the victory music is great. DOOM II victory music is also good, and so is endgame. Map01 is ok, Map08 and Map09 are quite funny (still good), and there are more, but I just can't remember them right now. 0 Share this post Link to post

I found more similarities, so they may not be very very close, but they are close as the music plays as the same notes, but not at the same height. 0 Share this post Link to post
