5)Gauntlet Dark Legacy
6)Quake 2 (dis game blew me away when I played it! It was like playing doom upgraded, wit new shit in it, to me!)
7)strider 2 (hiryu is mah nigga, ya'll!)
8)strikers 1945 (best shoot em up in history, intense as fuck!)
9)oh hell... I don't know!
10)whateva da fuck else I forgot!

1. Turrican 2 [Amiga ver] (my all-time favourite, has been since 1991 and it always will be :)
2. Dune 2 (I still remember playing it heaps on the Amiga)
3. Doom 1 (it just kicks ass)
4. Street Fighter 2
5. C&C: Red Alert (the first one)
6. Quake 2 (the mods is the only reason)
7. Quake 1 (same with 6)
8. Doom 2 (it's nowhere near as scary as the first one)
9. Wolfenstein 3D - Shareware Version (I used to play it all the time during 1993)
10. Gorillas (anyone remember the QBasic classic?)

Carmageddon (Second one wasn't as good, ain't played TDR2000 yet though)
Worms (Gorillas and Scorched Earth on steroids)
Shadow of the Beast (Amiga version was the best of the lot. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version was the closest console conversion to the Amiga though)
Tie Fighter (Beat X-Wing hands down)
Dune 2 (Meet the grand-daddy of the modern RTS)
Doom 1 (Knee-Deep In The Dead in particular)
Elite (Absolute classic)
Half-Life (Need I say more?)
Day Of The Tentacle (Easilly the best but most often undernoticed LucasArts adventure)

i still miss my 2nd last amiga.... my dad sold it just after i got my first PC (October 1994). I have one now, but i dont have most of the games i used to play.. i've got alien breed and IK+ which is cool (IK+ would prolly be 11 on my favourite games list)

ahhhh, IK+.... that was one of the first games we got for the Amiga cos we loved it on the C64 :)
James Pond was another one I used to play quite a bit on my Amiga. That was quite different from the average platform game, and rather challenging too.
Silkworm and SWIV were another pair of classic games. I was considering putting Silkworm in the list up there.
I also got my first taste of Eye of the Beholder on my good ol' Amiga. The second one almost made it on to the list above too.
Ever play It Came From the Desert? All those so called "interactive movies" of the mid-90's should have done themselves a favour and played that game. It was well ahead of its time. The Amiga version trounced all over the PC version. There was also a sequel to it caled Antheads, which was easilly just as good as the original, and had a plot even cheesier than the original too :)
So many games... I should compile a 100 greatest of all time, because the ones you see nowadays only acknowledge games from the last 2 or 3 years and forget all about the true classics that stand the test of time (Like Lemmings, that game took away quite a bit of my games playing life)

i used to LOVE playing lemmings 2... in practice mode. I'd choose all of the weapons and try to blow the lemmings up. "OW!"

The Lemmings series sorta went downhill after Lemmings 2 (except for Lemmings 3D, that one was fun). I'm not sure whether Lemmings or Lemmings 2 took up more of my games playing life than the other, but I played them both alot.
Another World and Flashback are 2 games which I also played to death. Especially Flashback. That game would easilly make it in to a top 100 games if I ever did one.

1) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
2) Super Metroid (barely edged out for 1st place)
3) Final Fantasy 5 (without doubt the *best* one of all)
4) Doom (all)
5) Megaman (all -- the blue bomber is your new god)
6) Survival Horror (no DC but RE, SH, and PE instead! =)
7) Duke Nukem (all after 3D, even 3rd person console games rock!)

Since I've literally played over 1000 games now I can't narrow the remaining down but I'm willing to give games favorable mentions:

There's a snes rom floating around of an incomplete version or Turrican 2. Sound's a bit low and no title screen, but the gameplay's all there!

Anyways,i never played re:code veronica,but soon,i hope.And ive played silent hill but i own re,re2 and re3 for the psx.
I beat em all and they rock,survivor horror rules!
There should be a survivor horror typw game for DOOM!

Turrican 2 kicks ass... I still have it for my amiga. One of the best games ever.

i used to love playing Elite. was it the game where you played this guy in a space suit and you go around doing stuff (cant remember what exactly, havent played it since 1993!)?

Elite was a space flight and trading sim. It allowed you total freedom within the universe it gave you and there was no end to the game. Chances are if there wasn't Elite you wouldn't have Privateer. We used to have Elite on the C64 aswell, but the Amiga version was my personal favourite of all the versions they made. The game spawned two sequels, Frontier: Elite 2, and Frontier: First Encounters. First Encounters never made it to the Amiga, but it was buggy as hell on the PC so that's prolly a good thing.
