SAN FRANCISCO (June 26) - Stunning politicians on both the left and right, a federal appeals court declared for the first time Wednesday that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools is unconstitutional because of the words ''under God'' inserted by Congress in 1954.

It's amazin how much dumb shit goes on in this country dat is against the US Constitution. Just look at random court cases from the last year or so, and see for yoselves. I'm surprised dat they actually pointed dat shit out about our anthem.... somebody high on the food chain must have complained about it.

Actually, I caught a portion of it on the news yesterday, and from what I saw it all started from a concerned dad (an athiest) and he said he didn't want his daughter to hear it in class. Unless I missed something...
