My wad locations

Recommended Posts

My "Starcraft Doom" and "PSX/N64" sound conversions are located here:
ftp://doom:doom@24.72.20.212/
...then open the "Doom Replacement Sounds" folder. You should find a folder that says "Zeratul 982's..."

My 15+ level demo of my growing megawad "stonedmo.wad" and my single player/deathmatch wad "evilhome.wad" is located here:
ftp://doom:doom@24.72.20.212/wads/
...then open the folder "Zeratul 982"

Be aware that "evilhome" and "stonedmo" are in zip format.

There. Maybe that'll clear things up a bit. Feel free to download and tell me what you think of either file.

I never meant any confusion. Sorry, everyone, for the incovenience. Just keeping all of the wads in one place, all sounds in one place, etc.

Damn good. I tried Stonedmo, I played up to the level with the four doors that are filled with pink demons. And again, it was damn good. It's been a while since I've played such fun levels. The style you have is unique, Zeratul. In the first level, especially, where it pits you against individual large-type baddies like the Baron of Hell, it's almost Unreal-style battles that are high-intensity, against a small amount of very powerful enemies. Some levels, though, like The Confrontation, were too easy at the end. You might wanna up the difficulty, and increase the ammo level on that level I stopped on. Since I don't save (other than the level's autosave feature; a good idea I learned from Zaldron), the levels need just a bit more ammo, cause when I die I lose my ammo (obviously).

Anyway, on behalf of all us lazy unappreciative slobs, thanks for making some kick ass levels.

Like I said, it's only a demo, so I don't really know what's too hard or too easy, even when I test played it and got all the way to map10 - "Stone Fortress." As for map06 - "The Confrontation" I have to admit, it is quite easy to run up to the Spider Mastermind with the BFG and kill it with one shot if you're lucky. I thought that the arachnotrons would give it a little more challenge. Guess not. Then again, levels like that usually come after a level that is a little difficult. I guess I would call it a "cool-down" level. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Be sure to try out levels 9-16 as well.
