newbies are NOT the problem

I'm only going to say this once.

Newbies aren't the problem. I only see about 1 or 2 newbie posts a day. What I do see a lot of, however, is talking about newbies, which is the main problem. Let them ask their dumb questions, and so what if you have to answer something again. Let them try to fit in. But post after post of talking about the so called newbie problem, it's getting worse than flaming. I actually have to sift through all of this anti-newbie bullshit to find a post that intrests me and I would like to reply to. I want to know the progress of someone's wad. I want to help someone out if they have a question. I even don't mind reading the nonsense posts every once in a while. I think I speak for everyone when I say please stop this fucking fighting and insulting and make this forum the nice place it was two months ago!

In closing, I would like to say to stop "Newbie-Flaming". Let's all just get along. If this place was like the way it is now when I started coming here, I would look at it with disgust and move on. Make the newbies feel at home. The only dumb questions should be the ones about warez. Everything else (even if it's about Hexen) is fair game. People want answers, please help them out.

yes newbie's arnt the ?? just to many ?? posts. kinda nice to have a post that dosint have. "how do i" or "where do i get" or "please help me".

dude if to many ?? posts come up then y dont us more experienced doomers make a FAQ for the doom/doom ports/all the new doom fetures. this whould lower ?? down intensly on all forums for a long time. coze the FAQ whould hold the answers to there ????

ever since Ling has added the faq, the amount of stupid questions has went down. however, not everyone knows about the faq, we're human, we can make mistakes.
