ZDoom sound error Pt. 3 :(

I was playing Cube and it got a little jumpy sometimes when a sound was about to play. When I heard the white baron of hell's roar, it...well...froze AGAIN. At least I successfully force closed it using "end task." I received no error.

I noticed that I was disconnected from our ISP as well and had to reconnect to type out and post this, but I don't think that had anything to do with it. I didn't even minimize ZDoom, so minimizing also has nothing to do with it. I don't think "mmtask" is involved with it either. I checked the device manager for any errors or conflicts with the soundcard and found none.

Maybe ZDoom 1.23 is unstable when it comes to sounds, especially custom ones or some other internal error. Should I use 1.22 for now on? What if the same problem happens with that one? If I do switch, what are the major differences between 1.22 and 1.23?

You should listen to some Das Ich MP3s when playing ZDoom. Das Ich solves everything ;)
