Legacy woes

[DooMBoy]

I just d/led the Doom Legacy. I have tried unzipping the Legacy file to my Doom directory, but it keeps telling me that there are no Doom files to be located, or something like that. I tried unzipping the Legacy.exe and the Launcher.exe. Same thing happened.
What's the problem here?

this happend to me once. maybe this is something else but go to the game mode option in the launcher and browse to select your doom/doom2 wad and also the legacy.exe

put the main DooM WAD in the legacy directory

i like that port, mostly for the stable opengl but i have sound probs wile running it in linux

Make sure that your Doom II is up-to-date too, otherwise, you won't be able to play it(Doom II must be version 1.9).

Or if you don't wanna upgrade just add -nocheckwadversion to the command line parameters for "Additional parameters" under the "single map" option from the main.

Or you could just upgrade.
