Guest Gruson Posted May 21, 2001 A while back someone told me that they knew a company that could convert say a 1600x1200 image into a nice 24x36 poster. What is their information again? (I ask because I want a Doom or Quake III poster made). THanks again, Gruson 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted May 21, 2001 Any printing place should be able to do that. I'll assume you're in the U.S. and recommend Kinko's, they're everywhere and do everything. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest Gruson Posted May 22, 2001 Cool. Kinkos can do it. They say it will look perfect if the source is a 1600x1200 shot. Cost for a 27" x 41" poster is around $76. 24x36 is $60. Not too bad. .....FYI..... 0 Share this post Link to post
Peter Heinemann Posted May 23, 2001 "Not too bad" But you should not expose the print to sunlight, because colours will fade. Even dull sunlight will have a bad impact. UV protection sprays (expensive) may help a little but the poster will definately loss colour saturation within 1-2 years. 0 Share this post Link to post
