Lüt Posted May 24, 2001 It all depends on what you feel like, they've each got unique feelings and environments. I think Heretic's maps are a good deal more professionally done (on an overall basis) than Doom's maps. I won't even compare them to Doom2. I personally enjoy Heretic much more than Doom. deadnail Posted May 24, 2001 Try it with ZDoom 1.23 b24, it's even better! =) Heretic has a much more functional arsenal, so I find deathmatches in it to be a lot more intense. The level design is also top-notch. However, it's quite clear that Doom won out in the long run so most people feel Doom is superior (as do I). 0 Share this post Link to post
