ZDoom can only play back demos recorded with ZDoom. For playing back original .exe demos use the original .exe or PRBoom, which has pretty good demo compatibility these days.

hey thanks for the link to the Compet-n site. I see my map06 time is better, and I have done some pacifist demos for tnt. I have a question: how do they do that trick in tnt24 where the teleporter is the exit in order to get 12 seconds on nightmare?
