Whats the best Zdoom editor ??

I need a good Zdoom editor. My Zeth dont work very good and i dont know hwo to config the wadauthor (that you can edit zdoom level).

DeePsea ( www.sbsoftware.com ) edits ZDOOM as well as all the others (DOOM, HERETIC, HEXEN, STRIFE). Be sure to select the correct project when you first start out. ZDOOM has 2 projects - ZDOOM (for DOOM/BOOM type levels) and ZDOOMHEXEN (for levels that use HEXEN type scripting).

If using the ZDOOMHEXEN project, I recommend you convert the DOOM2.WAD using ZDOOM's zwadconv so all the default DOOM levels now have BEHAVIOR lumps and all the types are converted. This is not required, but it eliminates the "converted" message for stock levels.

In addition to the online help, Rick Clark's web page (now mirrored at ZDOOM) has a section giving a detailed example of lump/texture importing.
