PLAYSTATION DOOM FORMATS

I want to extract the sound effects and music from the playstation doom. When i put the cd in my computer, it says that the format is .lcd but i dont even know what the hell .LCD is and how to view it and convert it into quicktime (music) and *snd (SFX) if anyone has an editor for the mac that can do that, email me at superdude_5555525@yahoo.com and give me the url



(note: snd is the macintosh sound format like wav is for a pc)

Have you tried using an emulator program?

BTW... a long time ago (about 3 years ago when I rented a playstation system, I put alien trilogy disc into my pc's drive and was able to read some kind of text files that looked like the mission briefings (really :) it was quite a while ago so i dont remember which format they were...

Emulator. I wanted to convert the data so i could play my own levels with these sounds and musics. Also the psx doom got rid of the 3 best switch textures: The green button, the big red button, the small red button and they also got rid of the gross eye, the captain head (bearded dude) and another head of a strange creature i could not identify and i did not ge to see those switches use the new sound effect. (you are thinking im a little weird for that last pointer arent you?) All they left was the lever, the redlight/greenlight with the slider, the skull and the demon head and no more. There IS a way to do this but i dont know how to contact any rippers to help me do this. Someone should write an editor to convert .LCD files to wav files and i can convert the wavs to snd files(or quicktime for music.) That way, it all works out. This is probably not against the law because both games are doom and if it is against the law, illegal/legal they call sheissegal in germany. Here in america, I feel the same.
