Guest SoulMuncha Posted October 12, 2000 I've been using wadauthor to construct a wad, but there are a few texture bugs which I'm sure are not my fault. I wanted to use BSP version 5 to build the nodes again (I'm pretty sure that would fix things) but I can't get the damn thing to work. It spits out an error, saying it can't open my wad. BSP is located in c:\wadauthor\wads\ and not my doom2 directory, if that makes any difference. someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong, because so far I can only run the wad using boom. Guest fanatic Posted October 12, 2000 What's the error you get? Just "can't open WAD"? Maybe try BSP 2.3, which is a very well known stable version. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest SoulMuncha Posted October 13, 2000 I actually dlled that version first, I got the exact same error and then tried version 5, so that won't work. 0 Share this post Link to post
Guest SoulMuncha Posted October 13, 2000 Whoops. I tried it again and the problem turned out to be nothing more than a consistent spelling mistake in my commands to bsp. I kept spelling my wad wrong. hehe. 0 Share this post Link to post

Guest SoulMuncha Posted October 15, 2000 Lol. It's called octarena (octagon arena), but i've been playing zelda 64 too much. I kept spelling it octarina. SoulMuncha 0 Share this post Link to post
