I do find that the ending is very abrupt and a little bit confusing though.
Blade dives into another time bubble after returning to his own time and arrives...within the UAC Research Labs - that's on Mars, right?
And where did that last time bubble appear from?

Quite frankly, it appears to me that Blade has to fight his battles on Phobos, Deimos and Hell all over again - kinda strange imo.

Yeah, I probably could have explained things better. I'm not really happy with the ending either. It was getting on the long side and I wanted to finish it up with this installment, so I condensed some areas.

The ending is supposed to show how the demon invasion actually has its roots in Wolfenstein, and how the demons have been manipulating the portals, which resulted in the original invasion in Doom 1. I trimmed quite a bit out of my outline, which has enough information in it for a short novel and the translation suffered. Given the reaction, it is just as well, since I don't think that many people are interested. Maybe one day I'll flesh it out better. :)
