Sound Question.

I've just gotten back into Doom editing lately, so I'm a bit out of touch with all the advances that are going on.

I read that ZDoom has ".mp3 support." What does this mean?
And is it possible to get Doom/Doom2 to support nice stereo sound for the .wav's.

i think its from beta 9 onwards that allow mp3's in the wad.. im not too sure.. :P
