zdoom1.23

i was hoking about in some dusty corner of doomworld, and i found this beta version of zdoom, not the one with mirrors and slopes, but it does run a lot faster than the previous version, as fast as legacy in fact. go get it in the source port section. it seems nobody made any sort of fuss when it came out.

¿legacy run fast? i have a celeron and legacy in software mode runs like crap, well actually only the doors tehy open liek an inch every ten seconds

Well I thought I had seen something about a ZDOOM 1.23 beta, thank goodness I'm not just an insane raving lunatic. Thank you for pointing that out.

that is peculiar, 'cos i have a pII and no 3d card and legact runs far fater than any other port at high-res , try zdoom 1.23

I don't have a 3d card either and it runs perfectly smooth.

Maybe a downside to hardware accelerators?

Whoah, I downloaded the v1.23 beta7 back in May!
