deadnail Posted September 6, 2000 I was messing around at work last night, doing some of my horrid sketches, when I just simply realised that there's no damn reason for my to meld together the Quake 2 and Turok 2 shotguns. Just look at the Turok 2 shotgun in action, with normal and explosive shells, and you'll see just about everything I've envisioned... minus the srap. :) Can you see it somewhere? If not, I *might* be able to make a small .mpg of it for you. I hope I don't have to, though, because I'm a lazy little bastard. Also: GoSat -> Cable modems in MY area? Damn, how soon can I get one? Steyr -> These guys make some really nice handguns. I read an article in American Rifleman last night about their latest model... it comes with a lock built in. Very cool. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tetzlaff Posted September 6, 2000 I don´t think that your sketches are horrid, I visited your homepage some days ago and saw some of your sketches and they weren´t that bad. I´m always interessted especially in weapon pics, and I was also searching for Turok 1/2 weapon pics online, I also found some and they looked really fine, but were so damn small.Maybe you have Screenshots to show? But I dont want to enerve you... Okay, a Quake2 Super Shotgun question: Is it pump action? I never noticed that, but I will see if I install Q2 some day again on my computer. So if it´s pump action, the flat "box" under the barrels is the magazine? Isn´t the grip to big to handle it pumping backward forward? 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted September 7, 2000 Yes, the Q2 SS is pump action, although you can barely tell thanks to the animations. There is a slide on the bottom (the left hand) and the handle up top isn't used. That 'flat box' as you call it would have to be the magazine. Since it's a Quake game and there's no such thing as reloading, I'm surprised that's even there! As for pissing me off, go ahead. Everyone else doesn't seem to have any convictions for it. I might be able to make that movie soon, but if not I know I can make it on the weekend. The nice thing about working 3rd shift is you can do nothing but sleep & work which is awesome on cold days. Talk about comfortable. Soon enough, though, I bet I'll feel my heart stop doing that. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
