Guest Bloodspill25 Posted November 14, 2000 IT WOULD BE NEAT IF DOOM III HAD AN OPTION WERE YOU COULD DOWNLOAD WEPONS OR CREATE YOUR OWN. BUT YOU HAFT TO ADMIT IT COULD BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT D00M III. HAPPY POSTING!!!!! 0 Share this post Link to post
SoKatH Posted November 14, 2000 That's better, now you've said something relevant, I suppose that could be a good idea. But don't you think it would pollute the original game. Of course it would be your choice what to download, so yeah, that's good. S./ 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted November 14, 2000 Yeah, you could have an in-game browser similar to the server browsers within H-L/Q3A, only you can download MODS with it. It can list versions, single/multiplayer, weapon-only, enemy-only, yeah it could have the whole deal. Nice idea, kid. Now clean yourself up. 0 Share this post Link to post

sirgalahadwizar Posted November 15, 2000 DavoMan said:perhaps an additional program could do that Blub!! why go to the trouble of having an external program do it when you can ahve it built in? KISS principle Keep It Simple Stupid! people want ot click on one program and get everything running. Not go through a big ol' spaghetti string of programs to set things up, this is the way it was once done, and needs to be like this no more because we have the technology to fix it. the orignial doom required you to run an external modem connect program to get a multiplayer game going, wouldn't it jsut have been easier to run the program itself and connect form in there? 0 Share this post Link to post
