I just downloaded the Doom-Mod for Q2 (http://ricebug.qeradiant.com/doom.shtml) and it is really good altough there are no Doom Enemies, but the Doom-Maps.

I hope that id will use the old textures (just redesigned) because without them and without the old enemies this game will have nothing to do with Doom 1/2. And the old textures will give you the real Doom-feeling and you will remember the old times.

Don´t think in that simplistic way. Doom III can be a NEW Doom, which is still Doom.

Also, I would like to see the ol' half alive guy on a stake, and the half body chaied to the wall back :-)
