Actually it sounds like the iD webmaster threw something stupid in there just to see what our reaction would be in the community. I'm sure that he now realizes that we are, indeed, paying close attention to all of his unannounced moves.

and for the love of God, I only just realized what it said... that's so inconscienably grammatically incorrect....

oh and speaking of God, I've just finished reading a series of books by phillip pullman (they're actually marketed as kids books but they're really quite mature in its theme) anyway, basic premise is that God isn't in fact the creator but is a being comprised of Dust (little elementary particles that are sentient) and while he didn't create everything, because he was the first sentient being, he made claim to... then some angels (also made out of this dust) fell from his favour and brought this dust to a man, making man sentient, giving them knowledge (Eden etc). So basically from that point on God, or the Authority as they call him basically was controlling the churches and oppressing the world. So the guy figures it all out, gets the help of the fallen angels and goes off to find God and kill him... It's so anti-God it's funny, the author has been branded as a heretic by the catholic church of England.. muahahah

anyway, I suggest reading these books, they're a damn good read.

Once again... All Your Base Are Belong To Us is from the opening cut-scene of an old Arcade/NES game called Zerowing. It is a Japanese game that got (badly) translated to English by Japanese people who didn't know English. It started on the forums over at somethingawful.com as a picture of something yelling "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!". People joined in quickly with all the different types of pictures to put it (on billboards, buses, license plates, advertisements, people talking, etc.) and there's about 500+ pictures in a thread on the forums at somethingawful.com - the forum goons there then spread the phrase to all the other places they knew of, putting it on tons of other forums and even some sites where they let users type in their messages as the site header. It was also used in a few chat dialogues and pranks, and there is an AVI of some people who added their voices and music to the cut-scene. It was very-well done. I have about 400 of these images on my computer; I never get sick of looking at them. There is also a site that has them thumbnailed and categorized, but I forget where it is at the moment.
