something to look forward to

besides the obvious reason to be excited about the relese of doom 3, has anyone considered that, in all likelyhood, there will be a line at the software stores before it opens( much like when star wars 1 came out) and like starwars will there be people in costumes? picture newbies in cacodemon costumes or guns built onto there hands like cyberdemons...i hope there are, simply to make the wait more enjoyable. did those star wars fans dressed like darth vader actually watch the film in costume...?

Screw that. As much as I want to play Doom as soon as possible, chances are the first release to hit the stores will be bug ridden, and require numerous 40mb patches.
Unless I get high speed internet by then, I won't be in a rush to buy Doom 1.0

And...I can't stand the die hard star wars fans, especially the ones that dress up.

And I swear I'm gonna make this whole thing go nuclear if DooM followers, who I tend to hold in a regard that is above dressing up in kid's costumes, show up at stores dressed up in stupid kids costumes!

I mean c'mon! I'm not gonna let a bunch of geeks dressing up like it was an elementary school halloween party to ruin the image of the game.

Although I think it would be kinda cool if we all showed up with double barreled shotguns, and blood smeared across our faces =)
