doom for gba

ok, i will probobly buy doom for gba than doom3 ( i eventually will ) and i will play the shit out of that thing cus me and my frinds are going to get it and we are going to dmatch atschool. one thing is that i want to be able to have my own maps and shit, but i guess they will probobnly do that. or they mught have zdoom or doom legacy or edge for gba.

Nah.. the GBA may be stronger than the SNES... but it sure as hell wont have Legacy or ZDoom, lol. But a level editor would be nice >:)

Hmmmmmmm, I was just thinkin along those lines. I was thinkin there could be an optional computer port via some interface cable that came with the GBA to load WADs and, if required, dehacked patches. Will (or does) the GBA have internal, storable memory on it? Is it even out already? If not, when will it be released?

It would be EASILY possible of the GBA used memory cards and allowed a PC link. They could even have contests at Nintendo.com as to who could design the best Mario level.

However, if it doesn't have memory cards (which it won't), then the only viable alternative would be expensive and probably won't happen.

I think you people are asking WAY too much. This is a hand-held console, you know?

Altough they should *REALLY* release a couple of wad sets in memory cards, to buy from time to time.

If they don't support mem cards, then I guess a "Pokemon" re-release would do the trick. DooM Gold, Silver, Blue, Yellow, etc.

They should make up some more interesting names, though...:)

dosint it link to the gamecube, and if the gamecub where ever to connect to the computer, id softwhere whould be able to do a level editor/ wad transferr, althou i highly doupt id soft will do that, but it be cool to have home made levels for the GBA
