Agent Spork Posted July 11, 2002 Does this happen to anyone else? -Setting resolution above 640x680 causes massive slowdown -Setting depth higher than 16-bit causes massive slowdown -ZdoomGL starts up at 8-bit color depth -Monsters appear invisible when you exit the room that they are in. ZdoomGL looks very nice, but I have alot of problems (could someone help me possibly resolve theese problems?) 0 Share this post Link to post
Captain Red Posted July 11, 2002 hmmm... What kind of machean are you running it on? aside from your last point, I have encountered none of these problems. but in regards to your last point, "-Monsters appear invisible when you exit the room that they are in." That is a bug in ZdoomGL wich will (hopefully) be corrected in the new relese... come on timme!! :P try reading the FAQ in regards to your other questions... 0 Share this post Link to post
sirjuddington Posted July 11, 2002 The third one can be fixed by editing the zdoom.cfg file and setting vid_bpp (or vid_bitdepth) to 16 or 32. As for the top 2, it's probably because you have an old machine or video card. 0 Share this post Link to post
