doomserv problem

yeah i know i am stupid when it comes to this stuff so lets skip that part when you reply. anywho, when i try to create a new user on doomserv 5.0 it gives me this error thing that says:
Run time error '40006':
wrong protocol or connection state for the requested transaction or request.

plz help with this i wanna play multiplayer doom and csdoom sux cause it has too few people on.

That error usually means a server is down, which server were you connecting to? Washington is usually on-line most often. Make sure you have the 5.01 patch too available at http://greensting.addr.com/dsfiles.htm
