Happy Birthday Doom AND Doom Wad Station

So, Happy birthday, Doom. You've given me 22 years of gaming enjoyment.
I'll never forget the first time I saw the shareware and became a fan. It was a defining moment in my pc life and eventually became a passion that caused me to pursue creating my own maps and eventually to create Doom Wad Station - which turned 17 this week. I hope there are another 22 years in it for both of us!

Ah! I was wondering what that cake was about. I always forget Doom came out in early December of '93...

Happy birthday to both Doom and DWS and thanks, Brad, for all of your time and everything you've done to keep both the spirit of Doom alive and the community going despite the typically thankless job you've held on to for so long! I really appreciate it and I'm sure many others do as well.

Here's to another 22 years for both Doom and DWS and with any luck, another 100 after that.
