^ I don't know. It seems fine in OpenGL, but software does something strange. Maybe it's related to the pallete?

Yeah, I noticed that actually. The graphic I posted before is actually in the Doom palette, and that screenshot was taken in Crispy Doom. So, I don't know how the one on repo got degraded.

I'd have a go myself but the Linux box I usually use Git on is broken at the minute, and I haven't had too much luck getting Windows and Git to talk in the past. Maybe I'll spend a day on it when I can.

How about something that stands out and fits the color scheme?



(It's just the colored version, with an added layer of color #497d63 taken from the website's borders, used in "color" mode in Gimp.)

Deutex supports GIF, BMP and PPM (meh, never heard of it. Must be an old format)

fraggle/chungy/Jon probably chose to use GIF format for saving space.

@Gez hey that's pretty sweet, but i like the subtle one a bit more. Your's seem too... Monochrome, I guess(can't quite put my finger on it)

Perhaps Detuex should be updated to support PNGs with transparency. Well, 8-bit PNGs, anyhow.
