Pending resource requests

It seems reasonable to keep a single thread for pending resource requests from developers, so that they may be managed and fulfilled easier.

So far the requests appear to be as follows:

• Egyptian themed textures [Zauberer]
  
• a steampunk version of Brutal Doom's plasma rifle [Zauberer]
  
• various non-stock textures (the art direction needs to be elaborated on though) [Freedoom]

Anything else?
