Superluigieth1 Posted January 14, 2016 Hello Doomworld, TL;DR Do you know how to use Voxels as texture replacement? I was reading these three webpages about Voxels, so I downloaded MagicaVoxel, and got started. I have made one and a half textures (I cannot show you because I am on my iPad), and I have been using VOXELDEF for sprites, but not with textures. So, can I name my Voxels the same patch it uses, or name it like the texture? Even if I have found that out, how do I put it in game? 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted January 14, 2016 The TL;DR answer is "you don't" Textures are spread over a surface like jam on a toast; a voxel is an object. You won't get a voxel cut in half because a wall is 4 units high instead of 128. Best thing you can do is create voxel textures and manually place them along the walls where they fit. 0 Share this post Link to post
