Very early depiction of one of the setpieces for furry.wad's mission hub, taking place on the Deliverance island base

I decided that I will go with hand-drawn custom textures for everything to match the art style I already have

edit for more screens

(pls ignore blatantly visible horizon gap)

Got inspired by the Bloody Rust texture pack. Just started this and (probably) I'm not going to finish it in time but it an good exercise at least.

I had some errors though. This was taken in glboom 2.5.1.4, despite it saying prboom 2.5.1.4

But I tried first to take an screenshot in prboom 2.5.1.4

This is one of my projects using the GZDoom engine 1.9.1 with some modifications made by me adding a DOOM64 style to it. The engine hasn't been finishet yet, it will be used for my DOOM64 EX conversion on GZDoom.

Hellbrary V2, a sequel to the similarly titled Hellbrary map of mine. It will work on any limit removing ports but has special aesthetic features for ZDoom/GZDoom/Zandronum.

I've been playing around with half-sized textures using the NES palette.

(ignore the default Doom 2 sky)

If you're eagle-eyed you may recognise these from a large-ish vanilla Heretic level I was working on last year. Well, I didn't want to (a) waste the weeks worth of work on the thing I put in, or (b) populate it with Heretic's bestiary -- so the idea came to me of maybe using it in a shooting game of my own?

Textures are a test, took a couple days to reskin the map like this (save for the sky) and if I decide on making it into its own thing, will alter the map to look even more original.

Had an idea for my revamp of The Courtyard:

It's quite heavily inspired by the outside of my local shopping centre.

I really like the new Ambient Occlusion, Bloom and Tonemap modes for GzDoom. Here are a couple of segments from my map. I also really wish those fancy Smooth Doom lights were added as an option in GzDoom.
