I have to admit having done that myself in part of a huge single-map project whose development hell is only rivalled by DNF - I started it in 2004 and it's still not done :) This is meant to be a sort of hell, not the typical Doom Hell which is just a few textures, but something resembling the classic Greco-Christian Hell. It's the Big Demon Boss making a point, kinda like in Strontium Dog. The player has to find the off switch (yes, you read that right) after killing all the demons in this hell. I was definitely inspired by DeadFromHeaven's brilliant Inegumentary in the RAMP project (can't find their username here on DW). Bonus flesh image. This warping effect turned out better/worse than expected. CW for gross AF. Spoiler Edit: 8 days to finish v1.0 for the RAMP submission deadline. Got my work cut out for me, but definitely available. I don't have much to show that's representative of the final version yet. But here's a small teaser, since this is the map that's the closest to complete. Many things have already changed from when this was made. This was an old version, just vaccinating it.
