Remilia Scarlet Posted September 16, 2021 (edited) Pardon the temporary textures and architecture ^_^; Area is sorta dark so I could emphasize the shadows. Sorry 'bout that. This was a test I did for a "hellfire" feature for Eschatology. Basically, hellfire is small sections where you can't stand in the bright red parts for too long. If you do, you start to take damage every so many tics, very much like that one planet in Mass Effect 2 where you couldn't stay in bright sunlight too long or you start to cook. This is not a damaging sector. That's all done with a very small amount of K8Vavoom-specific ACS. Damage is based on the intensity of the hellfire, and how long you stand in it, so if you're further away from the source, you cook slower. Stand in it longer, and the damage will ramp up. Cryo Posted September 17, 2021 Now this might sound and perhaps look crazy... a total downscale of Hellbound's big map... map 29: Ascension. It's 5.8mb in size and looking to see if i can get it to 250kb or below... it is such a huge challenge for me, this is how low I've gotten it so far. Mr. LBN Posted September 19, 2021 Grass Grump Lobby MAP. This map quite literally takes about 10 seconds to beat because it's just a starter map to showcase what the ZONE will look like and once I rework some of the other maps you'll be able to see computer monitor snap shots of the maps in the ZONE in each lobby map (Think of Super Mario 64 where you jump in the picture before playing the level). I will be redoing a fair portion of my maps so I won't have a release for this year as planned :( I want the detailing to be better, yet again. 18 Quote Share this post Link to post
