DoomWorld's upload limit is shortening sadly because very dummy, but I uploaded many pictures into Imgur!

Done in one day total, maybe one day and half? I am not sure, but it was MUCH quicker than I thought, like, real quick.

Maybe there could a small platform or something which the player can reach through a secret teleporter, giving them a little bit of nice ammo and also a nice view of the building?

I tried to extend the black rock in this direction, but so far I'm not really satisfied with the result.

feels like it's been already stripmined barren and then doomguy comes hunting for resources in a desert. I like it.

Planning on making a Boom-based .WAD for Christmas this year, using imported assets from Doomkid's Doom-Xmas .WAD/Resource Pack. Currently have my friend who did the Pumpkin Sprites for my previous .WAD - Six Spooky Speedmaps - working on some sprites for an Xmas version of Fraggle's SmoothDoom Vanilla. (Donut Steel the idea Pls)

As for the maps, I already have some ideas written down for them. For example, the first map's ideas are as follows:

Map01 - Jingle Streets
	Begins in a building that's of the classic Doom 2 style. Player
	will start within a small room, where there will be a screen
	that describes the events leading up. Perhaps they'll be a
	screenshot of some elves fighting some imps. You'll exit the
	mostly closed and tight apartment with weak enemies; using
	holes in the floors of other suites to reach the ground floor,
	where you will walk down a street or two where you'll reach a
	small, clearly industrial building locked with a key. There,
	the exit switch will be located next to an unopenable door.

Among all the projects on my head right now, I thought I'd do a small remake of my very first map, see what two years and multiple projects worth of experience got me. Original first, remake second.

Final touches then I'm wrapping this up in which critiques are well-appreciated at this point. I better go check on Hexen and Heretic. I always miss the gothic environment somehow.

Really basic, but I recently learned how to make portals and 3d platforms, so I've been having fun making some odd rooms that fold in on themselves.

are you using voxels for the cars and have them as non agressove npc actors that follow a path?

 

the while 5th element/cyberpunk vibe is great

yes 

after basically finding the car model that idea sparked in my head 
so i went to udb and made this 
and also yeah those cars basically move using some thrustthing magic 
and then they get teleported behind the building, and get thrusted into a fake invisable wall which makes that speed effect when they appear

Honestly, I'm not too sure about this maze in level, it seems like it's 64x64 wide and it doesn't give much of opportunities for exploration and fights, it's one way street as they say. I would try few room loops with some fights or puzzles in between, so player won't get bored while navigating around level.
