I did have grey marble for the walls earlier actually

Yes I am considering adding torches

 

I am hoping it will end up as a successor to my aztek map at some point

Shooting for a snazzy OTEX techbase, but with a more traditional feel. Still challenging myself to staying under 60 monsters and still make it punchy.

GRASS GRUMP LOBBY (Re-Work)

What this means is that the entire wad needs to be redone from the ground up...We have all year for this project but still...Having to start over for the 3rd time because I'm not satisfied with the overall quality leads to some frustration with high points.  This is basically the opening lobby level to the first Zone: Grass Grump and each ZONE will have its own personal lobby corresponding to its theme.

lushly green ruins, it's a remake of a map i did back in mid 2021, this remake is for a vanilla compatible wad i'm making.

Finally have a test build ready for my new FFA megawad - 25 maps this time, (is that still a megaWAD?) anyway - I think I've finally got these to a reasonable level of polish. Quite a bit larger and more complex than my first Duel megaWAD! Maps may still get removed / altered, based on what my playtesters say.

These layouts look really comfortable and neat.  Something charming about 'em.

I decided to do a little bit more work on "More Tricks and Traps than you Require".

 

I completely removed a section, not because it was bad or played badly, but because it didn't fit the context and pacing of the map. I replaced it with a smaller bit which happens to look a little nicer as a bonus.
