Theres a gag in Civvies reviews of shooters about sewer level count lol, he counted a lot of them as you can see. And i aint saint myself, i created one sewer level for Wolfhound project

Dunno if anyone remembers my 2018 episode 2 replacement The Becoming, which had nine vanilla maps named after songs by Nine Inch Nails?

No? Ah. Well. Yes. Would be a shame if I were making episodes 1 and 3 of that (hopefully in time for a certain game's anniversary...), wouldn't it?

 

 

I've lost count of the amount of VPOs I've had to fight off, the amount of detail I've had to forego to make an open or interconnected space work as I want. And, yes, they're all still going to be named after Nine Inch Nails songs...

im kinda proud, no audio in vid...that is in the works...there's a gagged up pain elemental behind a fake wall...so that's kinda the plot other than you are not doom guy but barbara from the night of the living dead movie.....there's Britney and grandpa Simpson, i think they opened a portal to hell in the castle using some kinda fish....there are four doors that lead to a dungeon with keys and blood enemies, some without heads....scale upwards and jump from place to place for the last key only to find the fiendish archvile awaiting you!!

Wasn't planning on starting a new project so soon, especially with the sudden lack of mapping time these days; however watching Romero mapping on YouTube has really inspired me to start creating an Inferno/Sigil-inspired episode replacement for Ultimate Doom.

I've been busy learning and testing things to do with ACS Scripting in maps. And here, I recreated a part of the Catacombs level from TR4 in the Doom Builder. This would make a nice but pretty dangerous ambush as anything can be hiding behind these walls.

If there's an attempt to avoid IP law BS by using Ktulu, I'd recommend creating your own mythos. Otherwise, I'd spell it according to the original source which is Cthulhu. Perhaps there's a story I'm missing so I could give better insight?

I assume it's a reference to the Metallica song of the same name. Or it could be because according to the Cthulu mythos, writing his name can summon him.

It's a reference to the Metallica song of the same name, primarily because i'm using the midi version of it for the main menu, first level, and last level (MAP07)

 

Why? It's my favorite Metallica song :p

 

I am avoiding the name Shub-Niggurath with this, especially in the death messages, especially because well... We all know Lovecraft's opinions on people who weren't white anglo-saxon protestants.
