This map its really old, literally comes from FURDEMON era. I improved it visually and replaced some parts.

Hey, copy/pasting is no sin unless its 100% over and over. But like I make small structures that I know I want to use over and over and have them sit on tthe sideline of the map until I need them and then I copy/paste it to hell ^_^ also looking quite good! Keep it up.

A very early start to a remake of my favorite master level, as I'm trying to get really into the spirit of mapping, and if all goes well, hopefully move on to more bigger and challenging things :D Take a guess as to what level it is if you dare. Also very bare bones at the moment, maybe 20% done. but basic layout should give you the idea ;)

I suppose I can sort of announce DA1.5... I guess... 

 

It's uh, not meant to be higher priority than DA2 but it is.

 

If you want lore, then here it is. (I know, there's no mystery to anything with me nowadays..)

"You are the girlfriend of the Marine from the first Deimos Anomaly, well, actually, not quite. You died, a year ago.. So what's going on? Well, you've been brought back to life by UAC scientists, and you're back! For a bit of backstory, you and Robert (He's the DA1 guy) have been dating since you were teens. Your name is Julia and you're 25. And you originally died due to a random chaingunner teleporting to earth, and swiss cheesing you. Enough backstory. So now you really wanna find Robert now that you're back, and you've probably seen this coming... Everyone is either dead or a zombie, which is exactly what you see when you break out of the crate they kept you in, and get out of the sludge the crates have sunk in. Now, you're not exactly the most stable thing ever, every unzombified corpse looks exactly like you, and you constantly hear music. And you're not much better emotionally.. At least they didn't fuck that up.. You were diagnosed with depression and anxiety when you were young, you're quite traumatised, not only from the fact that you remember your death, but from the fact that you also witnessed your family die at a young age. So, you're not exactly a mentally healthy person.. But those aren't important if you have to kill all of the demons and I mean all of the demons, and eventually find Robert.. Come to think about it, you seem to be full of demon blood, which would be a plausible way that UAC would bring you back, knowing their shady shit.."

The idea just occurred to me thinking about the lawnmower mod...I can just replace the chain saw with some pictures of me holding my black & decker bush cutter...turn zombies into bushes and maybe even have a boss bush! Holy phuk...after barbara and Reggie's castle massacre and the babysitter mod, I thought I was all done! Doom is the gift that keeps on giving.

After some delays and taking time to build my own map for my MEDB Madness CP I'm finally ready to start building a demo map for my TC project.

 

I'm using an unreleased map I built back in the 90s as a base for the stage. Though it will be heavily overhauled. For now I just converted it to UDMF format and booted it up just to see what would happen:

As expected with no modification other than the conversion to UDMF it has deranged object placement and is missing most of its textures. But at least it loads with no issues :P

Made a new map using Walpurgis Frag 2023. Thanks to @Naarok0fkor for suggesting I use this. Great texture / resource pack, I may make more with it sometime.
