Spoiler (hillariously, my PSU was killed by all of the pollen being given off by my Petunia Exserta I was growing indoors. Very silly mistake - won't be doing that again.) apichatpong Posted February 3, 2024 (edited) The start of a very long work (maybe out for the end of the year?)... Some map plan, some ideas for fights but since monday I mostly worked on structures, got some and here is a (very rough) example : I'll try to do more than decorum and focus on combat design ! Edit : I know it's a biit silly to post this roughly but spent 4h on this shit and it's shameful pride to have finish it... It's a chemical research lab that the UAC installed - and then abandoned for some reason. 14/32 maps finished so far. Onto the 5th and final level for this episode. It has a 'working' set of reactors that move their 'control rods' via perpetually moving platforms. 15/32 maps finished so far. I'm going to be starting either the hell, nature, or electricity-themed episode next! Arrowhead Posted February 7, 2024 (edited) Frantik DM 3: MAP16: 'Radiant Rage': The first level of the 'electrical' episode. This is some kind of behemoth generator building, lots of 3D floors, lots of jumping. The megasphere below that big coil raises and lowers throughout the match - should hopefully make for some interesting encounters. I've added a BFG to nerf the MS a little bit too - should keep things balanced, as they're both quite a distance away from each other. The open sightlines and verticality should also make railgun battles fun, I hope. The BFG is hidden in one of those 3 'battery' buildings - you need to drop in from the top to retrieve it. 16/32 maps complete. :) Edited February 7, 2024 by Arrowhead 11 Quote Share this post Link to post
