I'm sure there are. I don't have Heretic, so I haven't looked. I'm more commenting on how bad it looks to have the skulls cut off. I'm not sure if I'd be satisfied with anything that I could create, tbh.

I find your cyan grid very distracting and, if I'm honest, it makes it really hard for me to see the linework underneath it! :P

Haha that's fair. I find easier to build the map without messing up the scale/grid that way D: 

Next time I'll remember to make things more readable

I'm currently working on my second map for DoomWorld and it is going well so far after 20 hours of work. I've attached an image of the current map view. After taking notes from my first map, this one is inspired by Sunlust map 19 "Blood Geometry" and map 01 "Chasing Suns." I wondered what might happen if you mixed these two maps together. As it turns out, my map is taking on a life of its own, but the inspiration should be noticeable. This is going to be a slaughter style map that will hopefully capture the spirit of Sunlust.

I'd like to get this finished by next weekend, but I'll see what happens. I wouldn't normally post in-progress shots, but hopefully it will give me a little extra motivation to get it finished.

How do you make those discs have different appearance when viewed from above and from below? I've seen it implemented before by having such discs check the player's height, compare it with their own height and conditionally jump depending on the result, but that would break in multiplayer if some players were viewing a certain disc from above while other players would view the same disc from below at the same time.

Funny enough what you mentioned was exactly the way i did that.

I dont intend on putting coop in this mod any way so it wasnt gonna be an issue.

Another map screen teaser of my Sunlust inspired work 'Technomancy.' I've still got a lot of hours to go before I can release the beta, but I'm certain it'll be worth it.

I've almost finished the detail work and will move onto the game play elements, which will be the most important part. Keep posted for this one, I'm excited to have it finished.

I've been revamping a map I scrapped about a year ago after not making a good amount of progress on it, and I'm quite happy with how some of my room designs turned out.

I know it's very basic compared to everyone else in here and "oh look another fucking techbase", but hey, I have fun making this stuff. :P

The Hall of Kings is a place in the Neverhood where you can see statues of several kings who created worlds (like said Neverhood). So I thought to remake that with the pixelated avatars of everyone who is mapping for Skulldash's community expansion!
