cortlong50 Posted November 22, 2017 (edited) heres some more shots from the 6th map of SVNHRNS/SVNEYES. a pack ive been working on forever that is actually reaching fruition. mixes of horror, hallucinatory terrain changes and balls to the wall shootouts (seriously, stop making horror packs if youre not gonna include some blood murder, this is doom.) this is is my first map pack...ever (that I’ve been working on for three years. Never mind that) but I think it’s been better than some of the “firsts” I’ve seen. its just a project nobody has made that ive always wanted to. not trying to do anything different, just good looking levels and a little more immersion. just kinda Doom2 done right. i know thats a cliche but i wanted to try my hand, and it wont be for everyone, but its been fun to make! (with a little sneak peak of the antagonist from map 5. trying to make a truly epic arena battle with some bad ass run and gunning in a huge detailed area.) if you dig if like the post...im narcissistic. // the rest of the pictures. https://imgur.com/a/cTQt6 also a link to the D3textures im using. riderr3 Posted November 23, 2017 Current map sketches made yesterday. E2 will be very abstract, E1 have industrial theme. The previous made map was typical techbase with a pinch of caves. Group of hiding zombiemen/shotgunners leading by revenant at the top can be dangerous too. Caves with many secret paths. The ruined ceiling. Voltage zone. And top view of map which done in october. If you remember I've promised to add stone/rock outside. Also last week, I've changed some enemies and placed SSG at the start, anyway is pretty tough. 9 Quote Share this post Link to post

CARRiON Posted November 25, 2017 I decided I wasn't happy enough with the rooms I made, it had been awhile since I used DB2, so now that I'm somewhat refreshed I went ahead and redesigned them completely (minus the start area). I had made a lot of silly mistakes initially that are now all fixed. Just some minor adjustments in the starting area. Yeah I still like bloomy lights. 6 Quote Share this post Link to post
