Jaxxoon R Posted March 2, 2016 Mortal Kombat is literally one of the least cohesive series ever made, every addition boils down to "what is cool" and Doom was never any different. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Jaxxoon R said:every addition boils down to "what is cool" No, that's so wrong. You are terribly mistaken. A lot of people may think that the lost soul is cool, but that won't make him a good character for MK or any other fighting game for that matter, actually a lost soul would be a terrible character for any fighting game. Seriously, you have no clue what you are talking about, you are the type of costumer that marketeers and capitalists use as an excuse just to increase sales without giving a shit about designing a good game, because they just care about hyping a bunch of fanboys in order to make more sales even if what they are doing is utter shit. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Jaxxoon R Posted March 2, 2016 Explain in detail, from a gameplay, design, and thematic standpoint, why Doomguy would be any worse than the revenant. Or the archvile, which has never been known for being even remotely decent at melee and has either been just a spawner or used an instant kill line-of-sight attack.AirRaid said:Guys, guys. You're arguing about whether a character would fit in a hypothetical crossover which is not going to happen, calm down. Better than the same song and dance over the shape of the cyberdemon's horns. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

DoomzRules Posted March 5, 2016 I'd like to see Doomguy in Smash Bros 4 as a DLC character. Don't mean to bump or anything, thought I just might share my humble opinion. I mean if they can add in Bayonetta.... Why not Doomguy? =3 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
BluePineapple72 Posted March 5, 2016 Bayonetta was added because here game is published by Nintendo/sega, Bethesda doesn't have any affiliations with Nintendo so it's unlikely we will see any crossovers I. There. Warner bros also only puts characters from other movie studios into mortal kombat (usually stuff fromWB movies), so it's unlikely we'll see characters from other games in there. Our best chance would be killer instinct since they have character cameos, and Bethesda and Microsoft have done things like this before (fallout car in forza) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

That's what I was thinking. Doomguy would be an awesome fit for Smash Bros.. Since Doom was ported to the SNES and the N64 had a new Doom created specifically for it, Doomguy has as much stake, if not more, than some of the other DLC characters such as Cloud. BluePineapple72 said:Bethesda doesn't have any affiliations with Nintendo so it's unlikely we will see any crossovers Maybe not. But when Final Fantasy 7 was released, at the time Squaresoft and Nintendo's relationship could be considered tumultuous at best. But that hasn't stopped them from featuring Cloud from FF7, a character who has otherwise never appeared on a Nintendo console from being a DLC character. It would have made more sense if it was Cecil (FF4) or Terra (FF6) as they actually appeared on the SNES/GBA/DS but it is what it is. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Deleted_Account Posted March 6, 2016 Doom crossover with Dead Space. Doomguy and Isaac Clarke must battle the hordes of hell and the scourge of the necromorphs that threaten the Tei Tenga colony where a strange alien artifact of demonic origin was discovered. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
