RightField Posted March 8, 2016 Nine Ball is rotation pool. The balls are pocketed in numbered order. The only ball that means anything, that wins it, is the 9. Now, the player can shoot eight trick shots in a row, blow the nine and lose. On the other hand, the player can get the 9 in on the break, if the balls spread right, and win. Which is to say that luck plays a part in 9-Ball. But for some players... luck itself is an art. :) I think Doom was the better quote. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Heh...so that means that players can engage in nerve-wrecking competitions of setting up their opponent in bad shots/angles, rather than trying to pocket balls? ;-) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Very nice. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Voros Posted March 20, 2016 What's better than Doom? It is small. It is simple. It is a word used for destruction and death at once. I vote Doom. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Guest Unregistered account Posted March 20, 2016 When I was four and my dad came home and said, "Hey, Joe, what does this spell out?" then held out the CD case (Collector's Edition) back in 2005, I replied with the legend: "Ooom!" 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Deleted_Account Posted March 20, 2016 The new tagline for DooM, "The best part of waking up is demons in your base". 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

It's funny that a game about hell and demons features almost no fire. And no death by burning. Pretty strange actually. Never thought about it before. I'm trying to think of an instance with fire but... there is none. Wtf is that about O_o 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Doomkid Posted March 21, 2016 Don't forget the guy being cooked in human BBQ, but since it's not in Doom 1 maybe it doesn't count.. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
RUSH Posted March 21, 2016 ^ Arch-viles weren't in Doom 1 either. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

darkreaver Posted March 22, 2016 Mayhem Possessed Diabolic Something simple and to the point. Nothing can ever beat DOOM though. Such a good name, seriously. edit: This could actually have been a cool "Doom" box cover hehe 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
