I selected the option 'other'. Problem...?

So you worry...

a)That my mother's cancer doesn't return (she's had a hysterectomy and a dual-masectomy). In other words, you hope your moms cancer returns

b)That my dad doesn't go the same way as his own (heart disease). IOW, you hope your dad goes the same way as his own

c)That my sister is gonna be ok - she had bowel reconstruction when she was 3 months old, and has recently developed a chronic infection therein. IOW, you hope that your sister is not gonna be ok

are you sure you did not misread the poll?

I worry about whether I'll find a job or not after my summer holidays are over.

Anyone want to hire an IT grunt? I'm good with COBOL, ASP, PL/SQL, Visual Basic and even a bit of C.

Well it seems odd to "Worry a)That my mother's cancer doesn't return " it should be "Worry it DOES return"

If you guys are gonna split hairs, then sod off. Spike's sharing those things that worry him; that takes a lot of guts to post the sum of your fears for a bunch of strangers to read. It's clear what he's trying to convey. You grammar-hooligans should drop the whole mess and have a little sympathy.

Personally, I'm worried about my dad's health. He's had so many surgeries on him over the years. You know that little tube they put down your throat so you can breathe when they cut on you? Those little things have worn a scar into the tissue of my dad's vocal chords, and that recently swelled up into a (benign, thankfully) tumor. He had the thing cut out back in February, but it grew in again. He went back to do it again this morning. I'm afraid that this damn thing will grow back again and again, and that he might be caught in a vicious cycle of repeated surgery to undo the side effects of previous surgeries.
