I mean, NFT still gets by on regular-ass websites so there's nothing really decentralized.
I think the irony is that if everyone gets on the blockchain system it will end up becoming the new centralized thing. complete anarchy only works if no one's a dickhead and so far I don't think that's going to work.

At one job there were two dudes that kinda had their own crypto club and talked about crypto all the time. I overheard one of them say how he had poured like $15k of his savings into it. This was a few years ago, and he was also someone that fell for a phishing scam and bought $200 worth of Target gift cards for someone posing as his boss. 

 

My thoughts on crypto? I just hope that it doesn't ruin my old coworkers life and other people's lives.
