BluePineapple72 Posted April 15, 2016 If you play an instrument no skill required post a video in here of you absolutely destroying it !(metaphorically although an instrument destruction would be pretty cool ), I'd love to see you people's talents If you don't have an instrument, I guess you could just make cool sounds with your mouth and stuff, or you could compliment our beautiful musicians, that would be pretty cool too 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Remilia Scarlet Posted April 15, 2016 I don't really play an instrument much, but I do write music. Here ya go. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

nxGangrel Posted April 15, 2016 Well, shit. I haven't gotten the band members and material yet. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Clonehunter Posted April 15, 2016 I'm forming the pipe dream of taking guitar lessons over the summer, and I'm experimenting with some music studio I found. I'll make something awful. Or start a band with others who can't play/just started and we'll all play and make this hideous noise and find some way to share it with the world. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

unerxai Posted April 17, 2016 I have a channel with some guitar music but it's pretty dead right now with its last video uploaded on 2014. I plan on uploading more stuff soon though. https://www.youtube.com/user/DeathUnlimited2000 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Ed Posted April 17, 2016 Some live, late 90s style industrial music. The Volca Keys drops out of sync briefly, which had been an occasional problem. I rebuilt my rig with new sync cables and have since eliminated said issue. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
plums Posted April 17, 2016 Cool shit Ed. I'll have to remember to check out your channel later. A lot of good stuff in this thread, I really ought to make some more music someday soon. Haven't been feeling interested in it for a while. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Occasional problem, or occasional dip into the Glitch genre? ;^) In all seriousness, your music has always been awesome. It makes me wish I had more hardware synths. I miss my PolyEvolver :( 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Azuruish Posted April 17, 2016 Long time ago (6 years ago) I created project "Mythostatic". Silly music but you check out if you would like to. Dubcitycat Dub, Basscore, IDM Filthstepik Stupid dubstep. Trance Guitar-Rock Blues Blues, Guiltar, Rock 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Ed Posted April 18, 2016 yukib1t said:I miss my PolyEvolver :( it's the gilded age for hardware synthesizers. The poly monster synths are still top dollar, but at $499, a Korg Minologue might help alleviate the hole in your setup the PolyEvolver left behind. Of course, I don't think the Minilogue can hold a candle to anything Dave Smith, but I think it definitely walks all over a Nord, Access Virus or anything else that was dominating the synth market for $800+ 7 years ago or so. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
stewboy Posted April 18, 2016 Well, most people here have already heard my music in doom wads, but if you want to see/hear me actually playing an instrument, you could look at https://soundcloud.com/fotytoo/nathan-daughtreys-concerto-for-vibraphone-and-wind-ensemble or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kEM0l74RK0. They're not the best recordings, unfortunately, but they are of me. I'm doing the marimba concerto again with a different orchestra in six weeks, hopefully we'll get a better recording out of that one. There's also a few videos out there of me playing ensemble pieces - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V43PX4Vq40c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d77QXp1No2o (in which I'm mostly on the glock out front) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek48R1Sg9eQ (I'm on vibraphone) and of course my own marimba duet, which I also played in - https://soundcloud.com/fotytoo/three-sketches-for-two-marimbas 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Tracer Posted May 5, 2016 This is a work in progress. I wrote and performed the guitar and bass parts, my buddy did the drums and the keys in the beginning. http://www.mediafire.com/download/8d0durnsdlawj6u/01_-_%28Unknown_Artist%29_-_Trace-1.wav I think the bass levels are a bit too high in this cut. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

glenzinho Posted September 18, 2016 Well I think my mouth has finally written a cheque that I can't (Johnny) Cash. As Doomkid can testify, I'm an Aussie from Melbourne, and I'm married to a Brazilian and currently in the interior of Brazil. I play a bit of guitar, enough to be cool at parties but not enough to save my skin and I definitely can't sing... So my wife has procured for me, at our local watering hole, a show this Wednesday night. Which is good except for the fact that I cannot sing, I have no band, and more importantly I'm sort of on holiday and have NO INSTRUMENT!!! (Protip: I think the last one is most important). I am assured I will have equipment ready to play on the night, so no excuses ay? Oh, I gotta sing too... So far my playlist will be Nothing Else Matters, Ventura Highway, and Hey Ya! I could possibly add Wish you were here & Am I ever gonna see your face again, if I'm not arrested that is! Anyways here's 3 of my songs (blues/pop/rock) from 12 years ago, the only video in existence if me playing live.... (Instrumental BTW, coz I can't F'n sing!) Please help with my set list, coz I'm fucked! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Tracer Posted September 19, 2016 ^Play "Goodbye Blue Sky". Simple but still a crowd pleaser. Throw in some Black Sabbath for the same reason. I suggest Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
