Final DOOM is not DLC, it's better compared to an expansion pack, to which Doom II was more-so, but it's content that's guaranteed to last you 12 hours with both IWADs combined. It's also standalone.

You make a good point, I just find the backlash about totally optional DLC to be laughable. It's like getting pissed off that spoilers exist for cars just because you don't want one.. It's like, fine, don't get one, no harm done.

The more extreme gamers who are full blown anti-DLC are really rather ignorant for not seeing how, when done right, it can extend the longevity of a game greatly. It's kind of awesome not having to make a whole new game from the ground up to get some cool new officially produced content.

Already preordered for about $90 CAD - that's just the standard version too.

Dollar value isn't really great up here in the north.

I generally never buy on Steam anymore outside of their sales.

Sadly, Amazon cancelled one of mine for "abusing their limited preorder policy".

Now I'm just down to (2) colelctors editions.
