Lila Feuer Posted May 3, 2016 Let's just hope there's no Day 1 issues so things aren't soured by the first experience. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted May 3, 2016 People who complain about paid DLC who don't also inherently hate Final Doom really confuse me. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Final DOOM is not DLC, it's better compared to an expansion pack, to which Doom II was more-so, but it's content that's guaranteed to last you 12 hours with both IWADs combined. It's also standalone. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted May 3, 2016 You make a good point, I just find the backlash about totally optional DLC to be laughable. It's like getting pissed off that spoilers exist for cars just because you don't want one.. It's like, fine, don't get one, no harm done. The more extreme gamers who are full blown anti-DLC are really rather ignorant for not seeing how, when done right, it can extend the longevity of a game greatly. It's kind of awesome not having to make a whole new game from the ground up to get some cool new officially produced content. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
PureSlime Posted May 3, 2016 Already preordered for about $90 CAD - that's just the standard version too. Dollar value isn't really great up here in the north. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Ixnatifual Posted May 3, 2016 Most stores or sites you can find has the game cheaper than Steam, I think? I generally never buy on Steam anymore outside of their sales. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Buckshot Posted May 3, 2016 I bought (3) collectors editions. Sadly, Amazon cancelled one of mine for "abusing their limited preorder policy". Now I'm just down to (2) colelctors editions. Sadface :( 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Jaxxoon R Posted May 5, 2016 I'll probably pick it up. Maybe even a physical copy so I can stare at the box if it doesn't work. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
